Epic Sadness

So I worked yesterday for 6 long hours and actually had something to show you that I was pretty excited about. Computer froze and although I had saved it...my computer decided to dump the last 6 hours of work I had done, so not only did I lose L2faceroll stuff, but also today's Happenstance strip. It has me frustrated for sure, and it has been a frustrating week in general, but I am working on Happenstance now, and even though I will have some extra work to do, I will have the title splash page (that is the first or second page - obviously first in this case - of a comic book that tells the story arc title and the series title and credits, and it is a full page drawing) and maybe the second page done, but I am not making any promises as I have to do a Happenstance for Saturday too. (You might get to see the second page though because I was able to salvage one whole panel that I wanted to use for a half page splash, so the second page is half finished!)

At any rate, I will hopefully be posting Happenstance in the next few hours and then maybe I can get some work done on L2faceroll - we will see.

So, I know that I went MIA for a while, had a camp, and was gearing up for raiding in WoW, was sick for a while, etc. etc.

Point is, during all that, I have been doing some thinking, and I have decided that I want to make this more of an online comic book than just a webcomic. The layout that I was using for the first two comics really limited what I could draw and how the story would be viewed. I really like the format for comic books, so I am going to try that out for a while. Now, this will take more time with drawing, and with school coming up I am not sure how updates will go, but for now I know that I will have one on Saturdays, and possibly another one during the week (going to be trying to go for two a week) but really I will just be seeing how it goes once I start to draw them (as Happenstance sometimes takes a while even though it isn't that complicated)

So, I will be kicking off the new format this coming up Tuesday. And this will be a during the day update, not a 12am update... ;p

I know that I owe an update today, but just two days ago I dinged 80 and one of our raiders quit; so I am dedicating my time this week to get re-geared and hopefully fill his spot, so I will not be posting this week as drawing kinda takes a while where I could be running heroics.

I said there would be a new char and I have a new char lol. I have been packing a lot and I have about 2 hours to finish up packing because I have to go out of town for some stuff, so, no comic, but a cool sketch of the next char I am going to introduce.

I will be gone for a week, but maybe some updates, probably not. Though should be some updates over on this blog.

So, I owe you two updates now, and I have them sketched out, but my pen is not with me currently (I explained over on Happenstance).

Anyway, I am going to be back able to draw on Thursday, but I am going out of town this Saturday, so what I am going to do is have one more update on Friday and then resume posts on the last Tuesday of the month. Yea, it is kinda crazy but it is the summer you know? lol.

But look for a cool comic and a new character on Friday!

Wow. Lot of drawing when into this one. Sorry that it took so long, but I hope that y'all like it. I know there are a few things that could be fixed here and there - but I put a lot of time into drawing this and I think that shows, I hope it does at least haha. Will try to get started drawing earlier for Friday, but I said I would update on Tuesday, and I did do that ;p.

The Start!

So, this is a new comic project that I am starting because I really like the way that a comic can tell a story, and I have been drawing a lot recently so I decided that I could use the practice and maybe make a few people laugh while I was at it.

Not much other to say than that right now, basically well, I don't want to give away any of the storyline, so I will just leave it at that ;)

For now, I think that I am only going to promise an update on Tuesdays and Fridays, but I am sure that soon this will become a Mon/Wed/Fri comic, and depending on how good I get at drawing fast, maybe an everyday comic (but with my school work I wouldn't count on it lol). So yea, I guess until next Tuesday!
